Chris Nisbet has been part of Prince Bishops Hospital Radio since 2000. He joined whilst at college and continued throughout his university education. He now holds a role on the Executive Committee of Charity Trustees and holds the position of Fundraising and Public Relations Manager.
What makes you smile?
Airports and Train Stations. I love to people watch and see all those meeting and departing. It will be an extra wide smile if i have coffee nearby.
Favourite place in the whole world?
My home, in particular my garden. A more exotic answer would be Las Vegas.
What is your claim to fame?
I’ve met quite a few celebrities. The one i was in awe of, and probably made a fool of myself in front of, was Sir Ian Mckellen.
Best concert/show you’ve ever been to?
I love comedy. Tim Minchin was a particular highlight.
Favourite movie of all time and why?
Got to be the Harry Potter Series, but love all genres. Goodfellas, Fight Club and
What is your favourite thing to do/place to go in County Durham and Darlington?
I’ve enjoyed Eleven Arches Kynren the past few years, what a spectacle. I love to take my children to anything to do with ice cream. There is nothing better than sitting with a coffee (and then an ice cream of course) at Dairy Barn, North Bitchburn looking over the Wear Valley.
